Onboarding Coordinator

Hinkley Point C - Bridgwater

We have an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join us in the position of Onboarding Coordinator on the MEH Alliance, working on the Hinkley Point C construction project.

This is a full time permanent position working onsite at Hinkley Point C and in the satellite office in Bridgwater. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the onsite onboarding requirements, ensuring full compliance from relevant departments has been confirmed.
• Communicating with the MEH Resource Team to obtain suitable candidate details.
• Collaborating with the MEH HR Ops, MEH and Parent Company and clients Vetting Teams to ensure that all candidates are compliant with site requirements in preparation for minus 2 sign off.
• Coordinating with the MEH Deployment team to ensure that incoming workforce/resource are ready for their project start.
• Achieving on time/on schedule recruitment demand. 
• Coordinating all new candidates are being mobilised to site in a timely and compliant manner and that any non-compliant requirements are reported back to the Onboarding Advisor for escalation. 
• Completing vetting utilising Rullion Access portal, track to completion and support with this process.  
• Coordinating regular feedback to the Advisor on progress, highlighting any concerns regarding recruitment blockers (lack of required skills in market, reduced known resource against plan or concerns in vetting).

 

Requirements:

• Recent, relevant experience in a similar fast paced environment 
• Experience of working in an onboarding/vetting coordinator role would be beneficial.
• Strong IT skills, in particular, MS Excel.

Please note this role does not offer any travel or subsistence allowances and so applicants must be based in the local area to be considered.

We are working across both Hinkley Point C units to deliver the infrastructure that will power the station and its operations, creating 1,000 jobs including many specialist engineers.
