We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our Facilities Services division at NG Bailey, taking full ownership for the delivery and performance of several key client accounts across London.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on client engagement, operational excellence, and team leadership. You’ll oversee four major accounts, ranging from whole-building maintenance to trading floor environments, as well as managing our London Mobile Team, which supports 35 demise contracts across the capital.
As the lead point of contact for your clients, you’ll be at the heart of relationship management, ensuring exceptional service delivery, compliance, and commercial performance through regular site visits, audits, quarterly reviews, and proactive engagement.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:-
Leading, coaching, and developing a team of Contract Managers to deliver first-class service and ensure contractual and statutory compliance across all sites.
-
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular reviews, performance meetings, and site engagement.
-
Taking full accountability for financial performance, including P&L management, forecasting, and cost control.
-
Driving operational excellence through audits, quality assurance, and health and safety compliance.
-
Overseeing the delivery of maintenance and engineering services across a diverse portfolio of buildings.
-
Collaborating with internal teams — including technical, energy, and support functions — to identify improvements, drive innovation, and deliver value for clients.
-
Leading by example to promote NG Bailey’s culture of safety, integrity, and service excellence.
We’re seeking a commercially minded, technically strong leader who can balance client expectations with operational delivery. You’ll be someone who enjoys building trusted partnerships, leading teams, and ensuring everything we do aligns with our high standards.
You’ll bring:
-
Strong technical qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (essential).
-
A proven track record in account or contract management within facilities management or building services.
-
Excellent client relationship management skills – able to lead quarterly reviews, handle escalations, and maintain long-term partnerships.
-
Experience managing Contract Managers or multi-site teams.
-
A clear understanding of compliance, audits, and statutory obligations within a hard FM environment.
-
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and delivering profitable outcomes.
-
A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
We're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people. Some of what you can expect includes:
-
Car/Car Allowance
-
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (option to buy/sell additional days)
-
Pension with up to 8% employer contribution
-
Private Medical Insurance
-
