Role
We have some exciting new opportunities for a number of team leaders to join the logistics team in our new Offsite facility in Dewsbury:

Our new facility will be available from early 2026, so the successful candidate may be required to initially work from our Bradford site until the Dewsbury premises are available.
Responsibilities:
Daily Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Health & Safety Compliance:
- Enforce safe working practices and ensure PPE is worn correctly.
- Conduct safety checks and report hazards or incidents.
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean and safe work area.
2. Team Leadership & Supervision
- Allocate tasks and monitor performance of logistics operatives.
- Conduct daily briefings to communicate targets, updates, and safety reminders.
- Provide coaching, support, and training to team members.
- Manage attendance, shift patterns, and resolve minor personnel issues.
3. Operational Coordination
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams.
- Ensure proper documentation for all logistics activities (e.g., delivery notes).
- Liaise with transport providers and internal departments to resolve delays or issues.
4. Performance Monitoring
- Track KPIs such as delivery accuracy, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Prepare daily or weekly reports for management.
5. Communication & Problem Solving
- Act as the first point of contact for logistics-related queries.
- Resolve operational issues quickly to minimize disruption.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

- Good understanding of logistics systems and processes
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office tools
