Business Analyst
Leeds or Manchester – Hybrid

Summary
We are recruiting a Business Analyst to join our Engineering team. Working in that role, you will be involved in the design or modification of business systems or IT systems and will get the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts from across the business to understand their problems and needs.
Some of the key deliverables for this role will include:
- Supporting Strategy – Assisting with implementation of the IT strategy
- Analysis - Lead detailed business and technical requirements analysis activities to develop project mandates, business cases, change specifications, and project initiation documents for changes or projects, including appraisal of costs and benefits
- Evaluation - Assist in the evaluation of project and change opportunities, including the estimation of resource effort and cost, to enable the prioritisation of changes which deliver the greatest business value
- Stakeholder Management - Working closely with stakeholders, ensuring clear and regular communication. Providing updates for project and board meetings
- Supplier Management – Working with the ICT Sourcing Manager to source and onboard suppliers
What we’re looking for:
- Previously worked as a Business Analyst or similar role
- Experience of being involved from scoping of work and the implementation of IT business systems
- Proven ability to work with suppliers and business functions to understand, define and document business processes
- Good understanding of functional and non-functional requirements and able to document them
- Preferably have good knowledge/usage of Microsoft365/Office products (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
